SOAK CLEAN MDA
An off white highly alkaline powder formulated for use as a soak and electrolytic cleaner for steel and brass prior to electroplating or vitreous enamelling. Based on a blend of caustic, silicates, and detergent additives which prevent re deposition of soil and extend bath life, Soak Clean MDA will remove a wide range of soils including coolant and forming lubricants., and contains surfactants considered to be >80% biodegradable when tested by the OECD screening test which satisfied EEC directives 82/242 and 82/243.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE.
Use in a heated soak, or agitated tank. As heat is generated when the product is mixed with water, make up solutions by gradual addition to cold water. Use concentrations are dependant on the soil, and best results will be obtained at 60- 80C. Rinse thoroughly to avoid alkali bloom.

Safety Advice Corrosive contains Sodium Hydroxide, Substance identification No 1759 Causes severe burns. Wear suitable protective clothing Keep out of reach of children. Do not mix with other chemical products unless specifically directed.
First Aid Wash splashes from the skin immediately with soap and water. If swallowed, DO NOT INDUCE VOMITING. give water to drink. Medical attention is recommended following eye contact, or if the product is swallowed.
Spillage's Sweep up for re-use or disposal as waste. Spillage's of solution should be contained and absorbed with an inert mineral product.
